Speaking Assessment- I used Voki to create a speaking assessment for my Spanish students. It was great, because you only need to be 13 to register (or get parental permission) and after they register, they can create their voki. 1 catch, they need a working email address they can access, but if they dont, try using mailinator, it worked out nicely. Once that is done, to add audio, you can do a few different things: add the audio using your cell phone, a computer mic, or type in what you want it to say. (obviously, for a speaking assessment, that doesn't cut it) But it worked out well, and most students were able to complete it, even if they did not have internet access at home. 1 day in the lab, and then require the students to write their scripts and record by a certain date.
